Hi Y'all... I wanted to introduce myself to your forum and hope that you will be as much help as I am going to need...Yesterday I purchased my first Bronco... It's a 1966 uncut very clean beauty that I found down towards Jacksonville Florida. I'll be leaving next Saturday to go get her and trailer her home to Pensacola. The Bronco looks to be in very good shape.... but because I'll want to make it even better.... Whats the best stuff to get first concerning manuals? Chiltons? Parts? Or is there something better out there? I want to know everything about her... ANy help is going to be appreciated. Once I get home with it next week I'll have my wife post a few pictures....

Welcome to the best site on the internet.

As for manuals try to get your hands on a set of Ford factory manuals. Chilton and Haynes books are helpful as well. If all else fails, ask your questions here. The knowledge that some people have here is unbelievable.

The first things you'll want to look at as far as parts go are your brakes, assuming it's running and what not. Check you brakes, wheel cylinders, lines and MC. All of them can be replaced fairly cheap and will most likely need it if they've never been replaced. A good tune up will help as well. Spark plugs, wires, fluids, carb and the list continues...

After that items such as shocks and other suspension components can be addressed.

Tires if needed and a cage never hurt either.

Again, welcome and hope you have more than one credit card in your wallet ;)
