Non Dash-mount radio??

In the marine industry, they make a gimbal mount for a stereo that can be easily mounted under the dash as well.

Thanks for the advice guys. I am gonna make one similar to buldozer's. I found a kenwood marine media receiver for $100 bucks online. It's only 4.25" deep so there won't be any depth issues, I don't use cd's anyways. I'll post up some pictures and hopefully a drawing of what I build when I finish it.
