I don't know if that pic Jeepster posted has them in order, but if they are then i really got screwed. The bottom line for me is their delivery, i will NOT pay to support a product i do NOT recieve. The pic isn't the only indicator i've had the i'm missing issues. After 21 issues(?) it's time to get your Sh*t together i think.

If you have an issue, call or email them. They are just people like us, not some giant printing magnate. I had a problem once, emailed them, got a response in a day or two and then had two new issues sent to me at no cost. (I only had a problem with one of them) Problems happen, and there is a lot that goes on that they can't control. The issues are all marked with a number. If you didn't receive one, the onus is on you to contact them and give them a chance to make good on it. If you didn't pay attention, and now missed your chance, you shouldn't bash them for it.:-[

I decided months ago not to renew mine, and I think my subscription has finally ran out. I have my own reasons for not continuing to subscribe just as many of you have for continuing.
Below are my resons:
1. Started as EB then added BB, which was ok; but then the BII???? %)
2. The EB/whatever that ran into the garage door episode. I did email the editor and did not like his response to me or the explanation in the next issue.
3. I have only used one tech article out of it.
4. The "girls" issue with the main spread going to the singer then the EB goes up for sale a month later. The BD staff can not control what a person does with their EB but it still made them look foolish because it was a staff article.
5. Ted Nuggent..............not a fan of him.
6. The "BS" section had several pages on how to have a Bronco event........I am sure that was great information for a handful of readers.

Those are my reasons and I really don't care if people agree with them or not. For those that are interested in back editions I have many of them but they are not in good shape because of the delivery. ;D

My $.02: If you don't vote, don't bitch about politicians. If you don't submit material for BD (I have), don't bitch about its content. Me, I'll keep renewing and submitting material (I also have every single issue since #1 in hard copy, and they're all in perfect condition - no they're not for sale.)

i agree with your general idea & i made the comment out of sarcazm. hell i dont even think i spelled it right, yes i too also learn more from this site than any magazine. most mags dont deal with our special needs in the EB field.

i think that maybe the general idea of starting a magazine dedicated to broncos is to build it up into a usefull tool. as for getting free stuff from venders, to each his own. if they got something for a little time well good for them. i dont think i'll turn Chuck down if he wants to give me a free stak 3 speed transfer case if i do a three page write up on it.( Chuck, PM me if your interested ;D )

I get it mainly for the readers rides and thats most of the mag. if i offended anyone then hey, I'm sorry.

I dont feel offended and if they wanna give me free stuff i'll write about it and post it here. And the readers rides ARE the best. I get more ideas there than anywhere else in the mag. I can see different seats wheel and tire combos different lifts and roll cages too. They should just make it all pictures and no words just like a good nudie book;D

A couple of years ago I before I even knew of sites like this, I grabbed a copy of Bronco Driver off a stand in my search for information to help me with a project on my 83 Bronco. The project involved replacing the sick, smogged, 302 and NP435 with a 94 Mustang 5.0 and ZF 5 speed. I did a lot of research and the project results were better than I had expected. I built my own wire harness and found the parts for the hydraulic clutch ect... I documented the project and submitted it to BD. They put it in issues 20, 21, and 22. I was very proud of my accomplishment and hope others might find some of the information usefull. (even for an EB) After looking at all of the EB acivity in BD, the bug bit me to find another one. I'm in the middle of a frame off restore on a 70 Sport with another 94 Mustang engine with AODE and some origional suspension thinking. I'll be submitting another BD tech article when its done this spring. So for those of you that bitch about the content, or lack there off, get off your butts and submit your stories. Dave...

PS. Sitting on the crapper with a computer on my lap just doesn't work...

If you don't wanna renew...thats your choice. If you want to make it better, then help them out with info, submitting articles, or suggestions to make it a better mag that fits your reading preferences better. Bronco Driver is not like Sports illustrated, or People Mag where the info, articles, etc are abundantly and endlessly coming in. The Bronco community is overall pretty small, but growing thanks in part to the mag. Im sure those guys really have to work hard to get info to use and put between the pages. So what if there is a BB article, or a BII article once in a while. Seems like 90% of the content has to do with Early Broncos. I am glad there is a mag out there that supports just our hobby. If you don't like what Bronco Driver has to offer then maybe you can start your own Bronco Specific mag and we can all bitch about it. JK

I'm confused. You decided to broadcast your intention to drop the magazine and opined on yr personal reasons as to why. And yet think that posts in reply to that, posts that simply advocate and reinforce what BD itself has said all along quite strongly - to wit; "it's YOUR magazine..we need your inputs" - is somehow telling people - or you specifically - what to do??? I must need new glasses...all I see are "why I'm dopping the mag" and "why I'm not dropping the mag" responses here.

I'm keeping my subscription - I'll keep my reasons to myself.;D

Actually because i did pay for a subscription (2yr) I will reserve the right to bash as i feel fit. I will have to check but from the looks of it i am missing a third of the mags i should have gotten. It also took quite some time and several emails to start recieving my subscription after i sent it in. I never did get a response, it just started showing up. So i was fine with that. Truth is that like many of you i have a busy life and when i get home and there is a new Bronco Driver there for me it is a nice treat. I don't have the time to nor can i remember to babysit a company for a service I PAY FOR!

I like the magazine and and very few gripes EXCEPT I have been waiting on a refund from them for over 3 months. When my subscription was running out I called them and renewed - - turns out my lovely wife also renewed it within a day or two of when I did. Yep......we paid them twice. Contacted them and told them of the dilema - - they acknowledged receipt of both payments and said they would refund one of the them but to date have NOT!
Waiting and waiting and waiting..............

Hey jeepster, I had a problem with a lost issue, and contacted BD to find out what was the problem, we figured out it was with the USPO, not them . They were real nice and even sent another issue to cover the missing one. So contact them, sometimes we all need a reminder....... like me, I need to remind myself to stop clicking on this thread.

I dont have a problem with them. Got every issue when they sent it. Dont need to contact anybody. They are what they are. I'm just checking this thread to see if I can unload my back issues.;)
I have a couple of insterested parties. Gonna give it a couple more days to see where it plays out........Im sure this thread will have died by then.

I love it when feitctaj sturrs up the dirt.
Doesn't anybody know what feitctaj means?;) ;) ;D :-*
