np 435 swap???

when changing the factory 3 on the tree from my 74 bronco to a np435. I seem to have forgot which one I need. is it the one from a 2 wheel drive dodge? and than I just buy the adapter and than it will all just bolt together? and does it matter what year the transmission comes from?

2WD Ford with the square bolt pattern for the tail housing and 28 spline output yoke.

where are you located, i have one adapter and all, just swapped out for an auto.

Yeah, stay away from the Dodge version. Those have very different input shafts among other issues. Here's a good info page on identifying them.
