Np435 adapter

Bought a used np435 trans with a Dana 20 adapter that came out of an early bronco.

Looks like the adapter may be home built???
Would you trust this?

Probably not home built. That looks exactly like the one I had on mine. I got it from Jeff's back in the 90's. They would make them like that. It was in my Bronco for 20+ years and the only issue I had was the bolts between the adapter and transfer case loosened up.

I was thinking that was the case. I found a few pics online and some of them looked just like that. Good to hear. Thanks

Can't remember which shop made those. It is shop built, modified a stock adapter. If I recall correctly there are only 3 bolts to the transmission, or maybe a 4th from the inside?
That goes back to the 90s.Not one of the big Bronco supply houses, but a smaller Bronco specialty shop
