Just getting ready to install this weekend one question, I'm sure I read it but cant recall. The plug connector on the trans back up switch or neutral safety switch???

Backup switch. There is no neutral safety switch on that manual transmission.

Yep, just the backup lights. If you don't already have it, you can buy the chassis-side connector already made up, or even build your own if you like "rolling your own" so to speak.
