....I loved this truck......oh well, once they leave there is no control  THANKS FOR letting me vent.....

didn't you sell it to a member on this forum ??

buy it back and let it live on w. you forever .... bend the driver side fender back and cut the entire driver side off for men cave wall art like so ... !!

NOPE.....local guy Franko, but I am not surprised you saw that! I had two identical at one point....Mugs has the other one now.

Franko, he could have a nice complete running one back(and better looking:p;D).... I've had the other one a couple years now and keep offering to sell it back to him but he won't bite.

I think he's waiting for it to turn junk so I can just give it to him.;)

Wow, can I relate to this. I purchased a 1999 Ford F250 4X4 light duty in Oct of 98, I drove it until August of 2012 at which time I gave it to my son. He drove it daily until this past summer and bought a new truck. He kept the Ford to use for hunting, playing, etc. He was 7 when I bought it and it was like part of the family to him. It had 428K miles on it. His cousin was down on his luck and needed a way to get to work until he could afford a vehicle, instead of just using to get to work he goes out drinking and totals it. Luckily it was single vehicle crash and didn't hurt anybody, although it wouldn't' have bothered me if he suffered a little. He was taken to jail where he stayed for a month. It wasn't until after my son couldn't get in touch with him that he found out the truck was totaled and his cousin was in jail. By this time the truck had been stored for a month plus the towing charges, total was more than truck was worth...yadda yadda...yes I'm still pissed off even though it was no longer my truck.

I to had an experience like this, however with a 77 Bronco. Back in 1980 money became very tight and I owned three vehicles. A 77 Bronco (my first Bronco), 73 Grand Prix and a 67 GTO. So I put all three up for sale to get down to one. The Bronco and the GTO were the first to sell. I sold the Bronco to a young man who was around 20 years old. A few weeks later through my grape vine of friends. I heard that this young man was driving drunk, ran a stop sign hitting an other vehicle and rolled the Bronco, which was totaled. No one was seriously injured, but the Bronco had only 15000 miles on it when I sold it. Really bummed me out when I heard that this wasn't the first time this guy totaled a vehicle after drinking.%)

I didn't realize how much I loved that Bronco until I sold it. I'm on my fifth one now, never to be sold.;D

Here a picture of that 77 Ranger.

Sold a 5.5" lifted '87 Ranger on 35's to a kid who got his license 2 days after his parents bought it for him. Next day totaled it rolling into a ditch.

'01 7.3 Let the stepson drive it for a while. He went back to jail for parole violation. Traded it to the guy who painted my rig for the paint job.
