So, after buying my first house in 2005 I had to let my original bronco go with the promise from my wife that I could buy another when the time was right. Now I am the owner of '75 which is basically just a frame and body ready for a frame up restomod project. Thanks to Redtail for letting me play with the cool kids once again.

;D

I'll pop up some pics tonight after I get it off the trailer. The direction I'm headed is a straight up cruiser, so the emphasis will be on driveability and detail. Won't be doing more than light trail work with this one so suspension lifts, fully locked axles, and giant meats are out. Great driver upgrades like 4 disks, EFI, hydraboost and AODE are the focus. Loving the two tone paint on some of your rigs, so that might have to come into play down the line, but first - as with all frame offs, cleaning the frame! And I can't tell you how glad there is a community out here like this to be part of.

So here we go, truly going to be a frame off effort as that's about all I have.

So there you have it, that's what I'm working with. I picked this up from Redtail, a member here, and am still waiting for the bill o' sale and title in the mail. So far, I've power washed the entire frame which took a couple hours, and started in with a wire wheel. Uncovered the original VIN (which thankfully matched the glovebox door I have)!

Gonna be a long road...;)

Sweet! At least you don't have to go through the whole tear down process!! Keep the pics coming! Good luck with the build.

That's the truth! Since 2 body mounts fells off, I only have 6 to deal with. But they are not willing participants, so I guess my initiation ceremony will start this weekend when I tackle em.
