I am installing a painless bronco harness part number 10108 and it looks like either the manual is messed up or I do not have the correct alternator. Also note that I looked at the centech manual and my alternator does not match that manual either.

I have a picture of my alternator attached. Just need to know how to wire this or should I just get a new 1 and not have to rig it.

Also, you cant see it in the picture, but it says GRD above the number 16 and STA next to the black connection.

That figure 7-1A in the old manual is wrong for a Bronco. The 915 wire is correct (goes to the BAT terminal). The 970 wire is correct (FLD terminal). The 969 wire needs to go to the "S" terminal of the regulator. The "A" terminal of the regulator needs to connect to a contant 12V source like the battery side of the starter solenoid. The 913 wire doesn't need to be there. STA on the alternator only gets used to power an electric choke. You can leave it disconnected.
