What she said! ^^Raven black!
ha!I'm gonna pull a Solomon and split the difference. Boxwood green with Raven black stripes. Hope that helps.
lol, do it the easy way right...Tough call. Raven Black, Pebble Beige, Britany Blue, Boxwood Green, I should have let the kids decide and be done with it.
I'm finishing up my prep work and painting next week. The existing color is (was) the Green Bronco in the first picture and I drive it most of the year without a top. Wide range but I'm down to Pebble Beige, Raven Black (Original Color), Boxwood Green, and Britany Blue. I know it's my choice but would love your opinions. Thx!
Rats!
Well, not really "too late" since you could still paint it any color at this stage. But yeah, if you're going to this trouble you might as well also get some new clothes on it.
I'll vote twice. The more I look at it, the more I like your current green. Don't change it yet!
Well, I wasn't smart enough to figure out how to do it! I have another week, so maybe on Monday!I vote Boxwood Green with Brittany Blue being my runner up choice.
You should have made this a poll so you could easily see how many voted for each.
Fixed it for you! (I actually had to tweak a setting behind the scenes, so it wasn't your smarts that were lacking! )Well, I wasn't smart enough to figure out how to do it! I have another week, so maybe on Monday!
Thats a great one!If you need some inspiration, just take a look at this beauty JGBronc did......the argent grill and belt-line trim really pop on the black.
What is the color code on the glovebox warranty plate?By the way, anyone know what ford color the one in my garage is? It’s a 72.
Thanks dirtdonk, the paint code is Q and that lines up with the 72’ color Winter Green. doent look like they had that color in the 71 chart on the link you sent, it is a color in 73, same name. Thank you! What is the color code on the glovebox warranty plate?
Here's a great resource here for original colors: https://classicbroncos.com/forums/threads/master-picture-list-of-original-colors.127793/page-5
Be aware though, you often have to look at the bracketing years (so look at '71 and '73 as well as '72) in order to find the correct code AND name.
Ford changed names and sometimes codes on some colors, depending on which year model it was. Same color, different name.
