This was a full on Classic Bronco shop. They think Broncos sell for 40-60k. Mine is not a beater or rust bucket but it will never see a 20k paint job either. Nor will I do business there again. Thanks for the replies. You all confirmed what I thought.

PAPITT: I used Ful-poxy primer p/n 491-16/catalyst p/n 483-19
SelectSeal Black Urethane Sealer p/n 422-52/activator 483-87
Paint was Nason 2k single shot with Hardner additive

I have been really happy with outcome so far, but its only been 4 months since I've painted it. I trusted the paint shop after I explained how I was going to attempt to paint myself.

Ex. 3/4 gallon of (Ford 1980-1994) candy apple red was $143
1/2 gallon of epoxy primer $59.00
1/2 gallon sealer $54.00
1 pint of hardner $$27

Wow FireDog those price seem pretty good to me. I sold DuPont from 1967 until 1995.
I had just got the new Chroma One paint.S/S paint & Man I really liked it. It was much easier to spray than some of the earlier Base Coats & Clear Coats.
...just for grins was the base no. of your paint 4737___. That 4737 and some letter or 2 was the old candy apple deep red used on our Fords for years.

It is the deep red ford candy apple red. I used the black sealer for the deeper red since red is translucent. The epoxy primer was grey.

P/n of the pigments mixed begin with 430- But there isnt a number for the complete color that I could find
