So I'm trying to get my parking break working and i found the issue is that my front cable is completely seized up. I disconnected it from the pedal and the pivot lever. I also disconnected the retainer pin on the tail end of the cable but i cannot get it out of that bracket. Is there something else holding it in that i am not seeing?

Thanks

Im confused as to where your having problems. Is it stuck right before it goes into the spring pulling bar contraption?

Mine was rusted into the bracket, a little PB Blaster and channel locks on the front side of the bracket the cable should twist out.

Are you talking about the flared end? You have to bend the locking flares to remove from the foot plate. If the cable is bad, just break them off and it will drop through...
