I'm tired of fighting the inexperience at napa. There just aren't any parts gurus working anymore I guess. Wild horses only carries the 90 degree version.

I need a 45 degree angle manifold heater hose port part number (where the heater hose supply hooks to manifold just behind t-stat) for a 302. Any gurus out there hook me up?

Thanks guys! I will bookmark those parts sites for future use. The auto parts sites I know about are pretty useless. Can't tell you how many times I've cursed those sites.

Hmm come to think of it I didn't think about summit before posting...

Thanks for the assists.

The heater hose nipple on a 302 is 3/8 NPT. The water pump nipple on FE engines is also 3/8. NPD's Mustang catalog lists a GT500 concours 45 degree water pump elbow connection part no. 1859-12A. Its pricey at $45.

Try your local NAPA store. I had my parts guy go thru his book and found a short 90 degree fitting for me. Im sure they will have what you want. It was fairly inexpensive also. Think about 8 or 10 bucks.

Thanks thanks and thanks guys.

My problem is our local parts stores are missing the knowledgable folks. They are all computer monkeys that can't find a part if it isn't in the computer. This summer I spent literally an hour watching a guy try to find a ford temp sensor in his books. Part of the problem was their books don't have all the specs, and probably not all the parts. Part of the problem is probably living in a smaller town.

But you guys don't have that problem! Thanks again all.
