Im looking for any tips on a good phone mount. Currently my phone just sits on my passenger seat and it would be great if I could find something that would attach to my 3" roll cage. Haven't had any luck finding a roll bar phone mount that is over 2" so would love any tips or advice.

I love the Arkon mount in my '66 but it isn't a 3" mount. They may make a larger size, I'm not sure.

This is what I did. I welded in a 1/4/20 threaded insert and used a 1” ball mount for RAMM mounts. The pic with the tablet and phone is to show the spring loaded phone mount that works well. You can also use camera mounts, they are a little better as far as not shaking

A company called Mob Armor had some seriously heavy duty magnet types at least a couple of years ago.
Very strong magnet and all steel construction. So if you have a decent surface to mount to, it's not a bad choice.
Not sure how large they got, or how you'd mount to a non-flat surface, but they stuck to hard tops and other stuff pretty good.

RAM Mounts Quick-Grip XL Holds the phone rock-solid (no vibration or reposition if you accidentally bump it). Super easy to insert and remove phone with one hand. RAM offers enough mounting options that you can put the phone exactly where you want it. There are certainly cheaper stuff out there but well worth it for me.
