Are there any pick-n-pick toolkit members in the Vallejo/Fairfield CA area on the board? My membership hasn't taken affect yet and I'm wanting to get some parts during their sale this weekend. If I could use someone's card or meet up with them at the yard, that would be great!!
LMK
Thanks
Scott

Sorry, not up that far. Which is usually where the stuff I need is too!
I'm surprised you can't use your membership. It should take effect immediately right there at the checkout if you signed up at the store. Not sure what they do if it's done online.

But if nobody comes through for you, I would still go there and talk to the manager to ask about getting the discounts/benefits.
Just take your number if you have one and give it to them.
Mine took effect right then and there when they scanned me in.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I had to fill out a handout to get the card, just a few lines, name, email, etc but noting online at the yard. They said I needed to wait 2-3 weeks to get an email to confirm membership before it would be activated. Found a few items that would be great to get at 50% off this weekend.

No. Anyone can go in just like any normal pick-your-own-part yard. But like so many other retail businesses these days, they have their own "buyers club" with special offers and such.
So while they may do a 50% off thing twice a year for the general public, you get notified of additional half-off days (or series of days) that are not publicly advertised.
And every week there's another special. Like half-off radio week. Or half-off all engines or transmissions. Even free admission days (quite a few of them in fact) which takes some of the pain out of not finding a particular part you need that visit.
Stuff like that.

It doesn't cost anything. You just give them your number or let them scan your card (after you get it in the mail of course) and you automatically get whatever's going on that day. And points towards other rewards and such.
Typical "club" kind of stuff.
