Well, I scored this little '76 yesterday with the intention of building it as sort of a "counter" to my Rajin Cajun. I wanted to build a nice trail rig, lifted/cut/topless. It was going to pain me to cut it up because it's so much nicer than I thought it would be when I called about it. But when I got it home, my wife came out to see it and immediately ruled -- "you are NOT going to cut that Bronco!". Later that night, she asked "would you consider just restoring it to original and letting me have it?" HOLY CRAP! I'm screwed!

She's right - that one is too nice to cut up! Especially a nice green Ranger package. You don't see too many in green. Most of the Rangers that have survived seem to be the brown ones (Ginger Metallic or Sequoia Brown). Good find!

Nice addition to the stable, Scott. I like how your wife thinks...keep it uncut and stock!

Awesome - but just how "original" will it be? I like Nicks idea of modernizing it a bit. This way you wont have to worry about every fastener being correct and every part being just right.

I say modernize it with EFI and a mild lift, AC and some pizza cutters!
