I was not going to run the plates on the top of the axles, but I get six more welding points on the top 4 link tabs. I see people using 2x6 box cut and tapered down but is it really necessary?
If it brakes/explodes I will go all out. And wish me luck on the first venture.
And thanks for your comments. And yes it is ODD, but we will see.

well, the box idea would spread the sheer load...just like adding top/bottom plates to the lower links mounts. also,all the plates on top all look like nothing was chamfered for better heat penetration, are they straight cut?


of coarse ya get a "good luck" on the 1st venture, not trying to be rude, just curious to the ideas;)

The out board pieces are angle cut but every thing else is a flat weld on at least three sides. And all horizinal welding on all all parts. And I am welding with .035 wire (inert gas) with a 220v machine.
And the reason for the name Pebbles is when she brakes it will go Bam Bam.
