Morin' gents. Anyone have pix of a heat riser that comes up to the down tube on the air cleaner? It is for a '67/'68 Bronc V8
It should be on the passenger side as usual.
I'm thinking it is the smaller one that bolts up to the back part of the exhaust manifold but I can't recall

Sorry, I only have the newer style that was on the front of the exhaust for the '71 forward facing snorkel.
Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if I've ever even gotten a good look at one of the earlier ones. When I would see the early air cleaner, it was obviously in the way and I was not looking underneath.
When they were changed out, I'm guessing that often as not the owner took off the heat riser metal as well.

Good luck. Interested to see what they look like myself.

This part and the snorkel are easier to find as Mustang parts.

That's a long sucker ain't it? Must go right up to the snorkel and attach directly? Any "hose" or coupling that's used, or does it just slip right over a fitting on the intake snorkel?

Thanks

Heat Riser

I think the 66-69 style heat risers are available on early mustang parts sites for about $90 but have never seen the 70-77 eb style for sale anywhere.

Correct Paul, there is no soft hose between the two.
