Not familiar with it. Did you take pics?

i just picked up a horse stall mat from a feed store, $34 for a 6x4 foot sheet and about 1/2 " thick... heavy and should work really well in the 69 for sound and heat. Just finished lining the rear and will be doing the front floors tomorrows.

Reasonable question but I wouldn't bet that auto carpet off-gassing would be a lot better. I think we're starting to suffer from too much information. It's kinda comforting with your head in the sand!!Research is out on health of recycled rubber products. If top is off or good ventilation I wouldn't worry. Apparently soccer goalies are developing weird cancers as they are always diving on the recycled tire shreds on turf fields. Weird new finding. I did buy some anti fatigue mats at Home Depot to use as floor mats but am rethinking. If your truck gets hot inside there may be offgassing. I have to research more as I myself almost bought a horse stall mat.
No it looked WAY cool and tuff and was about 3/8 thick!
Found this online, but still doing research! They had cut it an basically used it to line every inch. I'm thinking it insulates way better than the spray in lining! http://www.rubberflooringexperts.co...lephant-bark-rubberized-flooring.html?whence=
Matt:
Is this the truck you saw? It's yellow and based in southern CA. Built by John Cole and the crew at Elite Broncos in El Cajon.
Pics pilfered from John's thread on RDC. I'm working on article for Bronco Driver right now on the truck but I don't know much about the material itself.

I neglected to answer this a little while ago, but just to close the loop - these are pics I took at John Cole's shop, Elite Broncos, in El Cajon, just as Todd Z mentioned (just a different rig). John told me it was material used for playgrounds. Not sure where he got it.
I totally agree and I do have recycled rubber mats now. I became a little more conscious after I bought a pop up camper then received a warning recall about formaldehyde off gassing and cancer risk from the glue in the plywood and cabinetry. Who knew???Reasonable question but I wouldn't bet that auto carpet off-gassing would be a lot better. I think we're starting to suffer from too much information.
