pneumatic angle grinders - 4.5"

Anyone use pneumatic angle grinders?
I'm looking for a good lightweight tool and reviews if you got them.

Anything lighter than your average electric 4.5" angle grinder. I have 2 Bosch grinders in electric.

ususally need some serious air supply behind you to run them.

Yeah, even my small die grinder puts a beating on my dual stage, 175 PSI, 80 gallon up-rite.

How about a real light electric?
This one is 3 lbs, or half my std-ish Dewault, which is 6.
It is only 5 amps though.

I strongly don't recommend any Hitachi power tool...I've just burnt several, three drills " corded" and the company I work for has 10 cordless drills ( because they were cheap) are junk !! I have two Dewalts at home and 3 Makita's at work I use ALOT..never have problems with them great 4" grinders very light one handed. just my opinion.

I have found Milwaukee grinders are THE BEST...with the paddle switch...and the high amp model...is Great...alittle spendy....but worth it....

I had a Milwaukee 7 amp. It paid it's due and gave me years of service, It finally crapped out last year. It was a beast for big tasks. I have 2 small Bosch 4.5" electric and they are great. One is set up with cutting wheels, the other a grinding wheel.
Just looking if there is anything smaller available for one hand operation. I may just get a pneumatic mini angle die grinder with 1/4" collet.

http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200381988_200381988 I own this exact model wth the metal housing they sell it both ways. It doesn't use a lot of air, Is compact and has incedible power at 125 psi.

I would have to compare it to and electric grinder with about a 4-5 amp motor. I use it much more than the 4.5" Millwakee electric grinder I have(9 amp).

I use it mostly with a flap disc but also with a stone wheel. I have been thinking about buying another one just like it so I don't have to change the disc from one to the other all the time.

I really have not played with pnuematic angle grinders enough to have found one that can out do my good Milwaukee.

I have a beater HF $20 grinder I have used for years. When I am going to do something bad (grind concrete) I use that disposable one. amazingly it is still running 10 years later. Waiting for the gears to go, and it has never ran smooth. They have no idea what a balanced armature should be like.

I nearly killed a 5HP compressor with a nice die grinder doing exhaust manifolds. Even my new 2-stage I think would be pressed hard to keep up with a pnuematic angle grinder. The couple we have at work are a joke compared to my electric, and they have 50-100HP of air compressor to back them as well
