Points to coil

Out of complete frustration, I have removed my second Pertronix Ignitor III and went back to the points and the resistor wire. Unfortunately, I can't remember which pole on the coil took the resistor wire and which one took the points wire.

Could somebody set me straight? Thanks!

pos to resistor wire,neg to points.
