first off I love forum, I'am not much of a poster but I read damn near everythng esp. the build threads thought you guy's might get a kick out of my powder coating oven, idea started with the thought of powder coating a bumper next thing was finding 2 good ovens for the working ends and a shot one for the middle , after a few cut off wheels and sawsall blades we had it cut out then mated everything together and stiffened with angleiron then got the doors to work together then smeared oil on the doors where the door seal was then shot a couple of tubes of red rtv on the opposite side then shut the doors and let rtv setup, worked good no heat leakage next wired up the 2 end oven element into one and made a cord to go to a welder plug. oven works great and I have made some decent beer money doing bumpers ok the pics are of the oven,my chrome bumper done in a translucent red,and also an electric winch I made atrolley for my garage have a good day guy's

What a great idea. I wish I had a place big enough to make a cool project like that.

thought you guy's would like this I love the challenge of getting something done on the cheap !! oh by the way I use an eastwood gun thats seems kind of chintzy but its held up well for 7 years and I get decent results with it but then I've never tried any other guns thanks.
