Good morning from Las Vegas! Getting ready to put some seats in and was thinking about re-upholstering these bad boys with a white material. First, do you think these would even fit in my Eb? Second, what type of problems do you think i'd run into?

http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/pts/1664810695.html

Oh and btw the PO had Camero seats in it that were bolted to the tub w mounting hardware. I will try to use what i can with the mounts but do you think its do-able?

The craigslist add expired so here are what the seats looked like before i got em re-upholstered..

Those look like they would fit pretty well. The part you sit on looks like it would a similar distance from the floor as the seats I have. If the mounting brackets are flat they should work good for the drivers side but you will have to do something custom to get them to work on the passenger side.

Well i pulled the trigger and bought the seats. I talked him down to 200. Now I'm gonna have my buddy re-upholster them white and enscribe BRONCO where it says Porsche.

Interesting, there's a set of black Porsche seats on CL close by and I had wondered if they would fit too. May have to look further into these now.

Hi,
I have BMW seats in my Bronco so why not Porsche seats. Please post the number of the store and the price if you don't mind or just PM me. I want to recover my BMW front seats and match my Toyota rear seat but everyone in Los Angeles wasnt's crazy money. So yes, they look great but keeping them clean in a Bronco, I don't know... :)
Good job!
Chris

What model Porsche did those come out of? I replaced the velour inserted seats in my 911SC (yes, velour...it's a '78) with some brand new factory elect leather seats and have my original set in a storage unit. From the pics that looks like a great fit. Porsche seats are low based which is ideal for an EB. Even with stock seats I'm always struggling to see the red lights. Not only that, they're kind of canted back in the butt area and raised in the knee area which is how I like to roll. Nice job. Post up some more pics of the installation if you have any...maybe a Tech Article!

They look like they came from a 944.
If the 944 seat fits, so will just about every seat put in a Porsche from the early 80's on. Most all of them can be swapped between models without adapter plates.
