what town

Now that you bought it.
Just wondering where in Texas you found your Bronco.
Stories like yours is the reason why sometimes for no reason at all I ask people this simple question. What do you have in your (backyard, Barn, Garage, back ten) you would be surprised the stuff you can come up with just asking someone at a garage sale in the country if they have any old cars laying around.

Awesome Find Congratulations.

Guys-

Its not green, but currently red...an old faded and chipping red that shows the original turquoise color beneath. And not to worry, this thing is staying stock.

I found it in Denton, but it wasn't advertised anywhere. I posted on a couple different Bronco websites that I was looking for a project EB and someone responded that they knew of one in Denton...didn't know too much about it, just that it was there. So I called the guy, checked it out, decided I wanted it, then heard they had a standing offer from someone! So, I offered a little more and they accepted. :) I left a deposit and they wrote up a bill of sale for me. I get to take her home Saturday!

That looks like a pretty good base to go from. Shouldnt be long and you will be cruising in your sweet original roadster. Gotta love those finds, hope one day I find one!!!

It also came with a soft top/doors which are in decent shape. A couple pin hole rust spots on the floor pans, but that is the only rust on this thing. I purchased this for $1,100, so I hope its a decent deal. Regardless, it's in my garage now and can't wait to really get started on it!

Right now I'm coming up with a rough plan of action to help guide my efforts before I really get going on it.

Goodness, that thing is really clean and will honestly be a cinch to get it rolling right and restored. I hope I come across me a roadster in that shape for even triple the price. You got one hellova deal there.
