Hopefully this has not been done 1000 times already but I’d like to get a good visual on lift kits and tire wheel combos.

I’ve got a 74, cut fenders, 1” body lift and what I think is a 2.5” suspension lift (unsure). I’m trying to find out what would be a good look for tire size (or if I need more lift)

Thanks for the help with a new to me project

Quick edit to add a picture of what I have going on.

1974, explorer package. 302 automatic. tires in pic are garbage and just for rolling around the shop. they are 33x12.5x15's

3.5" SL, 1" BL, 35x12.50 on '94 Bronco wheels.

Measure from the top of each axle to the bottom of frame directly above it, subtract 7" from the front and 6" from the back and you have your suspension lift...IIRC %)

oh and post a picture of YOURS too, thats a rule....I think ;D

2.5 inch WH, uncut so it probably doesn't really relate, L78-15s which are 30" diameter. She's also loaded down with enough camping supplies for nearly a week...

WH 3-1/2 lift, 2" body lift on 16"-35s.

Was planning the 1" body lift but it was really tight around the Atlas shifter cables. 2" made it a bit easier to work over the trans and transfer case.

71, cut fenders, 6" Rancho lift (so says the PO) and honestly I have not measured it. 35x14.50X15 Boggers.

I feel that the amount of fender cut, lift and tire size can dictated how you are going to use it/drive it and have fun with it.

I put on some 38.5X16x15 and yea is looked good, but had a way higher center of gravity feeling and the 38.5 did not stuff to well. So back to the 35's and a more solid feeling.

What cover is that? It looks meant for an EB without the top. I might would like to have one of those stuffed in the truck if I ever get stuck in a downpour...

77' uncut wildhorses 2.5 lift 30 x 9.50 tires, not sure on the rims. I think they are 8" wide.
