Power brake check valve (sanity test)

Call me crazy but when you blow / suck air through the power brake check valve (removed) air should only go one way, correct?

The reason I ask is I went to buy a new one the other day, came home and it did not "check." Took it back and got a replacement which also did not "check."

I wonder if there is a huge batch of defective check valves out there or if I am just acting a fool.

Anyone?

Disregard.

After going through my FIFTH valve, I finally got one to work.

See, I'm not crazy but the guy at the parts store sure thinks I am after ripping open all his booster valves and blowing on them in the aisle!

i thought they had a check valve in them also...guess i need to try mine
