Does anyone have a preformed PCV hose for a 6 cylinder 170? Mine cracked and broke in several places today.

I checked some of the vendor stores online (DC, Drake, TBP, Graveyard, etc.) but all the PCV valves I've found were for 289/302.

Anyone? Thanks!

Have you tried National Parts Depot?

'89 XLT, Stock 5.0, 4" Lift, 33's, (Hopefully returning with a CB at some point...)

Yeah, NPD also lists 289/302 but nothing for the 170.

I didn't think this would be that hard to find.

Wouldn't a standard section of hose work due to the length? Maybe thats what i have so i think it looks ok...which it does

The one I had on my '66 3.3L was semi-formed, but it was also really flexible.

You're probably right. After going through the part number book, one of the comments was "cut to fit from bulk hose 4090". So, maybe the 170 PCV hose isn't all that special or preformed like I thought it was. And that my hose only looks preformed because it's hardened into that shape for 50 years.

One last thing...just figured out what the * means next to the above part number. So, I guess this is just a generic hose.

Thanks for the measurement and the pic. I seen something in your pic that I am going to do to mine and that is the support of the heater hose clamp.

I just ordered a digital caliper which is arriving tonight or tomorrow morning so I can post the OD and ID dimensions of my hose when I get it.

My heater hose was supported on the carb spacer but I've also seen the hose from the control valve supported on the firewall.
