Problem With Wild Horses Shock Hoops and Duff Coil Buckets

I ordered Duff coil towers to replace my factory ones. But today when I was trying to mock them up with my wild horses front hoops I noticed that the Duff towers are rounded at the top and the factory ones are flat where the middle of the hoops mount to the towers.

Has anyone tried this and know a trick to ge this to work? I may just weld the hoop center to the top of the new towers.
