Installation pics

Here's what the roll pan looked like out the box.

I had to cut off 8 3/4" to make the length correct - a bit of grinding was needed to make it fit just right.

Last two pics show some of the trimming necessary to make it fit. The bottom and either side of the top needed to be trimmed. Honestly it was just trial and error (hence the scratches on the bottom of the tailgate).

Oh and here's a pic of the trimmed fame horn - a good 3" came off.

And a pic of the welded pan. Don't have any pics of the finished, smoothed welds but it took very little filler to make it smooth.

Is there anything protecting the rear fuel tank?

The pan rests against the rear frame horns so kinda, but not really. If someone were to rear-end me and hit just in the right place (between the two frame horns) or at the right speed it could potentially cause the tank to rupture.

Although considering my bronco gets about 10MPG theres never much gas in the tank anyways!!!

Very cool! Any plans for the front? Something similar or maybe monochrome bumper?

The front will be getting a pre-runner bumper, hopefully next week.

I've been at odds with what style to go with for quite some time. I'm open to opinions/suggestions before I bite the bullet.

any ideas?

IMO, a prerunner would got against the grain, considering the rear. Its like a chick with DD and no A$$, just not quite right. If it were me, I'd probably go for a stockish chrome or body colored in keeping a street truck. My $.02

I took my inspiration for a prerunner from the green sandrunner. It has a roll pan and a front prerunner and I liked the way it went together. Of course, it would be mostly cosmetic but I've got a stock chrome bumper on there now and its just not "doing it" for me.

I think a plate bumper would be too beefy and not look right either.

I'm thinking a prerunner that will match my new cage (oops)

Looks great Heus33........I don't think a prerunner front bumper goes bad with the rear roll-pan at all. I love the look.
