Seat Heaters arrived today.

Now it's time to go to the upholsters and look at some swatches to figure out the interior colour.

This months work summary along with some progress pics;

Installed fan/spacers/shroud
Installed grill mouldings
Installed headlight trim rings
Wire for daytime running lights
Wire taillights with provisions for LED’s
Installed tail light trim
Installed plate mount & light
Installed wiper motor & wiring
Modify doorposts due to thread damage
Installed door strap quick releases
Installed oil pressure sender & extension
Installed water temp sender
Installed grill letters
Installed lower radiator hose
Modify clamps for appearance
Wire in neutral safety/back up switch
Replace header bolts with locking set
Fabricate ignition wire separators
Installed thermostat, housing & radiator hose interference
Installed twin stick shifters-Billet knobs not compatible
Modify frame to accept power steering box
Modify power steering pump & bracket
Mount ARB compressor

That is all for July's work.

Hey Bob;

Yeah I basically did the tear down about a year after SOB and started out the rebuild. The original concept was a hardcore wheeler and it got out of hand and morphed into, as my wife calls it "a Ken mobile". A 70's vehicle with as many modern features as time and space will allow.

August Update

Here's the list of items checked off last month (along with pictures);

Install 3 groove crankshaft pulley
Modify A/C bracket for alignment
Align power steering pump
Supply & install matched A/C P/S belts
Change alternator pulley for clearance
Fabricate Alternator bracket & spacer
Modify alternator adjuster bracket
Modify & install upper radiator hose
Install bypass hose
Install recalibrated hood lift supports
Install main fuel tank & skid plate
Fabricate rear fuel tank upper brace
Install rear tank & skid plate
Fabricate fuel lines
Cut & fit rear park brake cables
Modify cable mount & install equalizer
Supply & install front brake callipers
Install rear ARB hose
Install carburetor
Install carburetor linkage
Install fuel line & filter
Fabricate transmission modulator line

Lookin really Good! The interior looks awesome and the carpet came out sweet. Is the carpet you used custom done by the upholstery shop or a kit from one of the vendors??? Keep it up!

Thanks .94 OR for the suggestion. I'm gonna get me some of those right away.

Broncoitis the carpet was done by the Uphoslterer, not a shop, just a local guy who works out of his garage and does great work for a very reasonable price.

Just ordered a set of Goodyear Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar, should arive next week.

The truck is back in the paint shop gettig touch ups done on the paint that was banged up durig assembly, then it's off to the Trani shop to get the C4 re-bult AGAIN!!


I'm hoping to hit the streets with hit this time next week.

Fuse Box Complete

Coming in to the final stretch. Tires are arriving by the end of this week.

The fuse box has been completed with the watertight top.
