Just wondering if anybody knows a cheap gear guy in the western washington area. Ive got a 44 that i need to get some 4.09's into before i can rip out to old 30. I dont have the guts to try it myself. Unfortunately ... money is an option-poor college student. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know anybody that is cheap. I was in the same boat, poor/broke/scared of the unknown. I took the plunge and did mine myself, it really wasn't all that hard to set up. A little time consuming because of the unknown. The one thing I would do different is buy/make set up bearings.

It also helps to have a friend that has been there and done that for pointers. If you read this Mark, yes that would be you

Thanks for all the feedback guys, as a new user to the page ive gotta say that all the ideas and encouragement have been really appreciated. All your willingness to help and give advice to help some punk get his bronco out of purgatory is just great. Im ordering my gears, install, and locker this week. Good talking to you last week Eric, I'll be calling again shortly.
