Anybody have any experience with puma compressors? I'm looking at getting one for myself here shortly. It will be used for typical eb building things.. Cut off wheel, impact, air chissle. I will not be painting. I painted my rig in my garage with my roommates compressor and will NEVER be doing that again. See the link (not necessarily where ill be buying from, northern tool sells these too), let me know what you think or what you recommend. Thanks http://www.aircompressorsdirect.com/Images/Puma-PK6060V-Air-Compressor/i591.html

Hampton,
I did a lot of looking for compressors when I did mine. You don't need dual and 3 stage compressors for that. I got me the smallest 60 gallon IR has. and have pushed all that stuff that you have mention with out a problem and it will handle painting to. Look at your acfm and scfm that's the biggest thing. Also check tractor supply as they have IR compressors and are have a dual stage 80 gallon on black Friday for 999.99. I'd go with IR before puma. Do your research from what I remember not a lot of people complained with about the puma and are generally a good compressor. Good luck.

I bought my Puma awhile back, after having a noisy Craftsman fro about twenty years......Great piece of equipment! I researched the heck out of the 60 and 80 gallon size range and decided Puma was the better deal. To each his own. My two cents when buying a compressor, get as big a tank as you can stuff in your space, get more cfm than you'll think you'll ever need.....
