Pushrod length

I'm going to a aluminum 351 W heads with adjustable Roller Rockers and a flat tappet cam ,any ideas on pushrod length . From what I have gathered the length will be 8.800 or 8.900 in length minus about .020 if you measure them because
of the hole on the end of the spherical ends.......So What ya running %)

The trouble is you can't just measure a pushrod. They are measured in "gauge length". Spend the $12 and get a pushrod checking tool and figure exactly what you need that will fit your engine, not buying a spare set of pushrods for someone else's engine.

Don't forget to get them hardened if you are running guide plates.

Seems like a pain but will save you a headache X2

Every engine and head is different so anyone telling you what they run may be wrong for your setup as you never know what work was done to the engine. If the block was decked or is a early block and or the heads shaved well you'll have issues and some heads require longer pushrods from the start. I can tell you that with my 302 and TFS heads I needed pushrods that were about 1/4" longer than stock. Some people with different combos have been able to use stock lenght again it all depends on what your engine requires not what someone elses required.
Basically as has been said you need to measure your setup.

I agree with the above Posts..Have bought a adjustable pushrod 8.8 to 9.05 hope its in the ballpark . Yes hardened with use of guideplates..Going with Rhoads V Max lifters so gonna have to count turns after marking top of the valve for roller contact spot and travel .Understand pattern should be towards intake side .....Small amount and pattern should be small .04 max in width .Just hope my starting point is close or off to Summit for different length af adjustiable pushrod

You want the pattern to be centered on the valve tip. If your off to one side you will load the valve stem which will cause quicker wear.
