had a great time. The track people talked to me about the truck. I think the guy running the show liked it. He let me run with all the other cars. I had a big disadvantage with the spool in the rear. I could not get the truck to spin around the hairpin turns like the cars did. But in the off road parts I just killed them.. The last part of the course was concrete that they had spread sand over and put up cones to drive around. Except for a few tight turning areas the bronco did good on the sanded concrete. You could dive the nose into the corner hit the brake to start the slide and than power out with the 4wd. I think if I took the spool out and put in a good LS and then add a cutting brake it would make a big difference.
I got to the track late. I missed the pre run track go arounds to get used to the course. When I started I had no idea of the course layout. I took it easy and my time was 4.45 min. The guys in the timing area were kinda telling me I needed to go faster. Next lap was 40 sec faster. Timing guys are saying wow thats better. Third and fourth lap was 3.98 and 3 .82 Now the guys tell me im keeping up with the rally cars. Next 4 times were better each time. last lap was 3.64. Now the timing guys tell me I have the 4th best time of the day? So the bronco earned a little respect and some admiration. I had a few disapproving lookers but I was faster than they were. Well my learning curve put me out of any placing in todays race but I was there for the fun. Truck ran great. It's a blast to drive fast.

Way to put it on em Bax. Haters gonna hate. Those rally nazi don't like to see real iron on the track. Would have loved to have seen you power sliding thru the turns in 4wd.
