Is there any modern slide in camper that will fit the Early Bronco? Anyone have a new Maverick? The camper manufacturring world will probably build a slide in for the Maverick, the bed width between the wheel wells is 42.5 for the Maverick, 40.5 for the 1977 EB. so I expect it won't fit an EB unless the bed is modified. I'm considering a 4x4 camper van or 4x4 RV type setup for chasing powder and overlanding.

Fun concept. Harder to implement. But a great result of it works!

The difference with an EB also is that the whole hardtop comes off, leaving you with unsealed windshield and front doors and bedrail.
So seal surfaces would have to be added to the camper as well as getting it sealed on the bed rails because there is no bulkhead.
Either that or utilize an early bronco bulkhead I suppose.

Maybe you thought of that already. I wonder if some type of glue on channel with weatherstripping would be enough?

I was looking for the same thing a long time ago and ended up getting a vintage Blazer Chalet. You can still get them for a reasonable price but they are climbing fast too.

I have a glass body and was considering adding a half cab from Bronco Design to solve the open top issue. Bahn makes very nice custom campers but they are extremely expensive. The Blazer Chalet is a cool truck. Thanks
