Guys, I did some research on here. I need the reamer to do a tie rod over but was having trouble finding the right size. I found a couple references to a SnapOn part number R121 that is a "1/2 inch to 1 inch" reamer. Found another post about the chevy 1 ton TRE's being an "8 degree reamer".
I went to a local tool shop here and they sell some off brand stuff but they don't list the degree of taper which I know has to be critical to match with the tapered stud on the steering.
So, if I am going to be doing a TRO on a '76 with disc brakes using Wild Horses custom T-style linkage - what size reamer am I supposed to look for (don't want to pay $80+s/h)? What if I go with the BC Broncos tapered stud / heim joint setup? Same size reamer?
