Rear axles too long or something else?

The axle that is long is for a 2-1/4” brake and you have 1-3/4” brake. Short answer is, it is the incorrect axle for your application. Get with your vendor and find a solution.

I'm still concerned, as are others, that the one shaft does not look like the bearing is fully seated against the shoulder of the shaft.

Not sure if this is what you meant but it looks like it can could go in further without hitting the center pin.

This is the passenger axle shaft. The one that kind of fits.

Based off a Wild Horses post that James replied with, I should have the 1.86 axle offset. I have 2.11 axle offset. Looks like this one is out of specs too.

Drivers side bearing is pressed all the way in. The bearing is sitting on a shoulder and can't move any further.

I didn't intend to have you grease the splines, just the end so you could see if it might be kissing the cross shaft.

That's makes more sence. I did it that way and the grease was untouched.

I forgot if you said already, but did you also install a locker or limited slip at this time?
Some of them have a double set of splines on at least one side. If those double spline collars/gears are not perfectly lined up, you can’t push the axle shaft in all the way on that side.

I installed a 31 spline locker. I'm able to push in the axle all the way until the axle shaft bearing bottoms out in the axle. The issue is everything from the bearing out. They are just too long.

I assure you that it's pressed all the way on. I attempted to press it on further and it didn't budge.

There's a shoulder on the axle that you can see in these pictures.

The silver line next to the red one is the shoulder.
