SO It's been a while since I've stopped in up front But I need to put new brake shoes on the rear of my 72
ARE they most likely 10 inch but could be 11, I suppose.
i FIGURE THE PARTS STORE will need to order them. Don't expect they have them in stock any longer ..
did 72 half cabs come with both sizes or were the 11 inch only on later year models..
tia in advance..

I have 10” shoes on my 1970 Wagon. It has a small bearing rear axle. The most economical option I found was Rock Auto. There are some good threads on here to determine whether you have a small, medium or large bearing rear axle.

Both sizes were used. '72 should be the normal ones, either 10 or 11" Depends on the GVW.
All that depends on if the axle is actually original to the truck as well.

I Expect it's the original. .. As i BOUGHT It about 2003 or 04..& It's still a 3.55 gear
. & The old man before me was about 65+ back in 2004 & He'd owned it for 10+ years ..
I'm expecting it has 10 inch.. As for prices I've got a sweet deal , As I used to have a parts store from 1967 to 1995+ ..& I'd give an old competitor employee. pricing at my store when he sold out .. Now that man's grand son is still in the parts business & He's returning the favor & giving me employee pricing . I either pay cash or if I'm doing a big job I may charge for a week or 2 but I keep it paid off ...
Thank for the help ..
