I had some 6x9 boxed speakers mounted on the wheel wells and thought I would add some smaller ones and put them in the quarter panels. I took some pieces of cardboard and made a template out of plywood. I used some 1/4" Birch plywood for the quarter panel inserts. I'll be using some black marine vinyl for the covering. Work is still in progress. The driver side is being tweaked but here is a pic of my forms.

Looks great! Remember to leave room for the carpet to go underneath if you use carpet. I did not subtract for that and they stuck up a little I had to remove the covering and trim them. Helps with the sound quality and road noise.

I did leave a little room at the bottom, maybe a little too much. For my first upholstery project, it doesn't look that bad and it sounds great!
