Problem: Part houses are just about nutz to get 400.00 for two leaf springs JMHO. Need 5" lift. Don't want to pay for springs that are arched and will sag. Want longer springs like F150's to stretch the wheel base rearward as far as i can and miss the gas tank/cross member.

Solutions? Anyone done this?

Hell I think I will and start selling a kit. $400.00 for springs that sag in 5 runs is very annoying.

Bent and Twisted sells f-150 springs with new hangers that you can weld on to lift anywhere from 2 or 3 inches up to 7 or 8. A few guys on Pirate4x4 run them and I think you're a moderator over there, right? A guy named Dima (aka flatty) ran them for sure on his 77 which he has since sold I think.

or just flip your current hangers and weld them where you want them for 5" lift.

or make your own pack for ~3" of lift and then fab up some spring rockers like bc broncos sells for another 2".

Thanks for the input to all. I think I will make my own using the F150 spring, the stock front mount and a fab'd rear. Bent70 gave me some good pics on the PBB. This will bring the pinion up a bit too which I need anyway.

Anyone got some pics of the Bent and Twisted set up. I checked ou there site, but they don't have pics to see what they are talking selling. I did email Mike...I'm sur he'll respond.

Thanks
Marlon
