Rear View Mirror Tab Removal

mine comes off every other year or so. as far removing it when you want to I have no idea. call a windshield
replacement co. they should know.

It seems that they come off with heat......you know when you see people put them windshield shades in their cars when parked and they tuck them under the rearview mirror in a attemp to keep the car cool. well the reflective shade traps the heat between the glass and the shade generating a super hot situation poping off the rearview mirror. ;) seems to happen every summer ;)

The tab and mirror came off on mine while I was driving down a bumpy road. It actually pulled a piece of the windshield off with it.

take a razor blade and work it under it from the bottom and keep working it between it and the windshield and soon it will come off this is how i did it
