Rebuilding engine - reuse bolts or not?

Certainly replace any torque to yield head bolts. Other than that why would you unless there was something wrong with the bolt? Both block and bolt threads always need to be chased before reassembly. After that a good inspection is all that's needed. The original fasteners beat even ARP for quality and there's no doubt they are suited for the application.

Well, it seems some of the bolts were lost over the last two years on my move back to Texas and subsequent storage of all the Bronco stuff. Question asked, and answered by the Universe. I just ordered new bolts. ;D
