I had Paul at Bent Fab do the gears in my 9" about 8-9 years ago when he was still located onsite at Driven. He did a great job. I had another "highly recommended" business work on them first and they could not solve the problems I had - Paul did.
That's my list.
Steve is way out West, probably my first choice. Paul once worked for Steve, I've had Paul do stuff as well and have no hesitation with him. Last I knew he was up North. I don't know where his latest shop is at.
Right now I have a custom project for work getting an axle built at Western Differential out of Tucson. First time using the place. A bit far from Phoenix
I've used Western and recommend him. He's been doing gears and axles for at least 35 yrs. I recently bought 2 Truetracs from him, got good price, and found out that Eaton is far better than the Yukon, that I was going to buy, now uses Chinese internals. He also builds 9" Ford front axles for EBs.
