AWESOME these are great examples, needabronco, your truck is my exact 1971 truck w candy apple red. Its just dull and looks old :(

It still needs a paint job. Will that make it "pop"

I was looking for the same thing as you. I always thought is some light my Bronco had an orange tint to it.

Here is my halfcab. The guy I bought it from told us it was a Corvette red. As you can see it looks red in one pic, but in the light it has an orange hue to it I think. We are doing a body off, so we are going with Ford Colorado Red. It is a much deeper darker red and does not look orange at all, nor so dark that its almost marroon. I will try to find a good pic of it ...

Here are a few sample pics of Colorado Red. This is a 2008 Explorer. I tried to find pics that show shades and sunlight colors.

Here is a 2011 Red Candy Metallic. If my eyes don't decieve me, it looks pretty much the same dark red in either the shade or in the sunlight. Opinions?
