Red wiper wire frustration

I am trying to finish my Painless wire harness install and have come to a road block with the wiper switch. I have the common aftermarket two motor wiper system (Tom’s or Wildhorses. I have 3 wires from each motor. I have the green & red low speed wires with a diode installed in each and ready to connect to the white low speed Painless harness from the stock switch supplied with the kit. The blue & black park wires from the motors are wired to the black park wire and the white & yellow high speed wires from the motors are wired to the blue wire. What do I do with the red wire?? I know it is hot all the time. The colored tape is the correct wire color. The pig tail Painless used is connected to the correct wires. IMG_2826.jpeg IMG_2825.jpeg IMG_2824.jpeg

Sorry, first image is for a stock wiper switch. This is for the switch in the wiper aftermarket kit. The red wire (12v constant to the motor park) goes to pin 5 on the aftermarket switch.

If you have an original Bronco style type wiper switch, hook the 12v constant to pin 1.

Thanks Jdgephar, This helps, but now I don’t know where to connect the black painless #981 park wire.

I hope I understand your wiring correctly...

Green and Red wires, which come from the wiper motors are low speed. They connect to pin 7 on the stock switch, which should be wire 979 White in the Painless kit.
White and Yellow wires, which come from the wiper motors are high speed. They connect to pin 5 on the stock switch, which should be wire 977 Blue in the Painless kit.
Blue and Black wires, which come form the wiper motors are the 12V constant for park. They connect to pin 1 on the stock switch, which should be wire 982 Red in the painless kit.

You won't hook up 981 Black in the painless kit to anything. The aftermarket motors use the 12V constant from the "self park wire" and will internally shut off when they park.

Thank you, Jdgephar, much appreciated. You answered my question. Now I understand why I couldn’t figure it out.
