Franko,
Looks like you guys had a great time. Sorry I missed it. Even though the Bronco wasn't done in time I was still planning on going out there with a buddy. I ended up with the flu instead. Worst way to spend a 3 day weekend. Always next year I guess.

I didn t break anything.

put on 21 miles, and used 6 gal of gas. yuch.

Shifter is nice. no vibration or rattle. I did not create any new leaks taking out the transfer case and adapter. Happy about that. Even happier that I finally cured the transfer case cover leak. "The Right Stuff" is the stuff. If I could get my fill tube out, I would fix the tranny pan leak too.

I am measuring for leaf spring shims right now to get rid of the driveline vibration.

Yeah I bought a tube of the "Right Stuff" for my motor and tcase assembly and I am hoping for similar results. Hopefully with the rebuilt tcase all my driveline vibrations will be gone!! Let me know what shims you decide to use because I'm looking in to getting some of them too.

Sorry to hear you have been sick! !!! See you in 2 weeks !!

and Mark I need new ball joints , hood shocks and had a big scare when my steering shaft slipped out Sat AM in the middle of the mud soup trail !!! I though something broke ... but turned to be a simple 5 min fix and worked just fine for the rest of the weekend !!!

Been there done that with the steering shaft bro. I was coming across the mud flats at Holopaw when mine came apart. Luckily i was going slow and it had just broken the retainer in the bell. Put a washer in to replace the retainer and put the clip back on and it was good to go. It is quite freaky when all the sudden the steering wheel turns but the truck doesn't.

We normally don't do a whole lot in the heat of the summer except the occasional day trip to Holopaw or the like. BUT very soon there should be an announcement about Holopawlooza II that is the first weekend of Nov. at Holopaw. That one is mine and Franko's baby and we are looking to have it bigger and better than last years event where we had +/- 35 EBs over 3 days. So keep you eyes out for that thread. It should be coming soon (;);) Franko)

BTW Boogie I live about 10 minutes from the Lakeland Mud Hole and less than 3 miles from Bubba's Mud Ranch. So if I get my rig back together this weekend I might have to come out there on the 19th and hang out with you guys. Is your race truck an EB??

Couple of weeks from now. http://www.myakkamudfest.com/

They have jumps in their track. It was new last month, so only a few trucks got air. It was pretty wild.
It is a much smaller event.

Stinky too. The bovine fecal count is high in that mud.
