Remote power steering reservoir

Howdy. I'm mocking up engine bay stuff before body work/paint. I have an escape remote reservoir that came mounted to pass side inner fender IIRC. I also have one of the steel reservoirs from an Astro van. Does anyone have experience with either of these? I was thinking to mount hi up on drivers side firewall. Running exploder PS pump (Saginaw is backup plan) and 4x4x2 steering and maybe exploder heat exchanger in front of frame cross member.

Thx
Hank

Hi, my only experience with remote power steering reservoirs is wit Saturday night stock cars. I would suggest to mount it as high as possible. A lot of fluid will gurgle through that thing, and it will get very hot. Always remember "some garages have engineers and other garages have pioneers" Good luck
