Got a question for you all. The dash in my bronco is all cut up from a previous owner and I found a replacement. After unbolting the brackets under the dash, the both on either side in the door jam, and the two knobs it still wont come out. It looks as if there is screws coming in from the back side of the dash. Do you have to fold down the windshield to get to these?

yes, fold the windshield down and you can get to those, it should come out after that, sounds like you have everything else out.

Dash panel or pad?
If it's the dash panel itself, there should be a philip's head bolt in the center of the panel, just below the pad that needs to come out.

Borg,
That's the one that got me for awhile. It was so painted over took me little while to find it. After I got it, it came right off.

if it is the dash pad....yes the windshield has to be folded down. you can look and your replacement and see where the screws are located. if your windshield has not be laid down in a long time i would spray some lubricant on the long hinge. obviously the top has to be removed or lifted from the front. and work the hinge slowly....they can rust up pretty good and then just brake.
