Ada, Ok
if any of you guys have access to a MAC tool dealer you might get a roto-broach from him. this is what i use and the good thing about it is when it gets dull he replaces the blade for FREE.

Like I said before, I've had good results with a Dewalt 3/8" Dual Point drill bit.
Most hardware stores sell them and it doesn't cost much.
With the Black and Decker brand its called Bullet Point. Just center punch the spot weld and drill, It doesn't have to go through, depth only needs to be enough to where you can split the panel apart.

Okay, here was my receipe for success today...

Windshield Frame and Tools

Grind down the spot welds flush with my $15 Harbor Freight grinder. Chisel out and back the hinge with a prybar and hammer. Worked great! And no holes to fill. ;D Hinge is trash, but who in their right mind would keep that? Thanks again for the grinder suggestion, 2bad!

No holes to fill. Happy days.

The trick to my madness is my impatience I think. I rarely have the patience to wait on ordered tools...work with what you have and make it work!

Even got to the forest preserve for a picnic this afternoon in the windshieldless EB today. Fun old school A/C ride. Happy Days! Don't worry I only let the boy drive at the forest preserve, not on the real roads. ;)
