Needed 2 power steering pumps, ordered them. installed both. One did not work properly. I go do the on line bitch process. End result is since I installed the defective part I can return the part but will only be credited the core value, because it is now "used"

Good luck. They sent me totally different order and wouldn't refund my money or send the correct parts till they received the wrong order back. I ordered engine gaskets and such totaling over $100 and got a wiper blade and a small rubber hose worth maybe $15.

They had my money and I had the wrong order and parts. They didn't seem to care. Took a week to get my money back and I had to source the parts from other places to get my rig back on the road.

I buy a decent amount of parts from them. Some are obviously
def. right out of the box. Their customer service has gone
downhill some.

Things that are common rebuilds (Cardone, etc..),
I usually try to get from a local chain now, as many
offer lifetime warantee on that stuff.

Yes, more money than rock auto (not always), but at
least if I have to swap it 5 times to get a good one,
it's only %) time and labor.

Call your credit card provider and file a complaint for a refund. You could also call the manufacturer of the pump. RockAuto only provides the manufacturers warranty and you may be able to return it to them.

i no longer buy from them

too many defective parts

bought some drag link joints from them and they wore out in a few hundred miles
the gas tank we bought from them was ok though.

I priced Amazon vs Rockauto with my last parts order and while Rockauto was cheaper on the parts prices, the free prime shipping made Amazon way cheaper.

they advertise the item, take your money, send half of it to the drop shipper and keep the other half ,

fat profit for just having a website and a pakistani or dot indian running it

I do a lot with Advance online. They usually have a coupon the works for $40 off a $100 order. Ends up being way cheaper than anywhere else. Rock Auto's shipping sucks. I don't buy anything there. Tried once and there were 3 shipping charges. No thx
